About Me

Hi, my name is Kellie Bauman. I was born in Southern California and I have lived in Texas for over 20 years now. I have always had a love for animals and had various jobs growing up taking care of pets.  For the last 20 years I have been taking care of animals in one form or another.

I have excellent experience as a Veterinarian Technician, so your pet will always be in good hands in case of an emergency. I have worked at several vet clinics over the years and have learned a lot about caring for injured, geriatric and neglected or abused animals. I am also a member of Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue. As an animal lover I am always willing to help animals in need of a little tender love and care.

Dog and Cat grooming is just one of many services we offer here at Pride & Groom Pet Salon. My expertise is in grooming dogs that have been abused, neglected or “over the hill”. I also take pride in my ability to groom cats. Grooming cats takes a special technique and I am always up for the challenge. We do not sedate any of our clients for grooming.

I am also currently enrolled in Clayton College of Natural Healing taking courses in Holistic Animal Care. I believe this will add to my knowledge in pet care and give an alternative to traditional medicine. We use all natural pet shampoos and clean with all organic (Shaklee) bio-degradable cleaning supplies for the safety of your pet, our home and environment.
